BIO:
Flu, 2007 Winner, Hartford Advocate Grand Band Slam, Best Hard Rock Band signed with Sling Slang in 2002, and released their first full length CD, "Remedy" in January 2003. After their original drummer, Matt Frost, left the band, Mike Anderson (guitar/vocals) and Aron Uzanas (bass/vocals) continued to play shows with a fill-in drummer or as an acoustic duo, playing anywhere and everywhere, racking up thousands of touring miles! With the recent (and permanent) addition of drummer, Matt Peterson, they ventured back into the studio to record their follow-up album, “Amalgamation,” a mix of the heavy and driving , notoriously Anderson/Uzanas guitar and bass riffs, searing lyrics and always intriguing, often dueling melodies... and, of course, Flu’s knack for great harmony lines. Amalgamation showcases the band’s growth and continuing ability to write some pretty cool songs!
